Elementary Principal’s Cabinet
August 21, 2006
The regular meeting of the Riverside
Elementary Principal’s Cabinet was held on August 21, 2005 at the
Elementary School Library. Twenty-two parents and faculty
were present.
Nancy Gress called the meeting to order.
Kerri Wede read the minutes from the May meeting and the special
meeting held in June. Kayleen Smith gave the Treasurer’s
Report. We have a balance of $775.69.
Mrs. Hollowell thanked members for all of
their work during the summer to get the new playground equipment
ready.
The Booster Club has requested that the REPC
work one football game in the concession stand. A motion was
made to deny the request without further information detailing the
request. The group voted and the motion was approved.
REPC members are encouraged to join the
Booster Club. Booster fees are $10/person, $15/couple.
The Booster Club meets on the 1st Wednesday of each
month at 7pm.
The REPC elected new officers.

We voted to update our By-Laws to include safe
handling of money. Money will be placed in the school safe
following events.
We discussed our balance of funds.
Richelle Alff will find out what the limits are on the amount of
money we can have in our account.
Mrs. Hollowell recommended that we invite our
head cook to a meeting to discuss our children’s lunches.
Kerri Wede made a motion to invite her to our September
meeting. Richelle Alff seconded the motion. Mrs.
Hollowell will invite her.
We also discussed the AR Reading
Program. Kerri Wede moved to invite Lori Nisely to discuss
this program with us during our October meeting. Nancy Gress
seconded the motion. Mrs. Hollowell will invite her to our
October meeting.
Meetings are held on the third Monday of each
month during the school year. Our next meeting will be on
September 18th at 6:00pm in the elementary library.
