by Cindy Beattie

June 24, 2009

On Day 2 of PC TAG, students continued to go from session to session.

In Chemistry students took apart diapers to find out what chemical reaction took place to make diapers able to hold water. In the advanced Chemistry class, students learned how to determine volume of an irregular solid.

Going Green students learned the value of growing plants and how that could help the environment.  They were able to plant radishes and leafy lettuce in containers made of recycled milk jugs and 2-liter pop bottles.

In Going Green, students planted seeds.

In Art, students continued to work on their abstract drawing about themselves.  And in Shakespeare, students began reading a new twist on Shakepeare's Comedy of Errors.  They also worked on the art of improvisation and began planning the scene that they would be acting out later in the week.
