PC TAG Day 4
Chemistry - Students created divers inside of 2-liter pop bottles. In the advanced class, students had to sink their submarine and then get it to rise. They used an old film can with a hole in the lid. They had to add pennies to sink the submarine and then add alka-seltzer to get it to rise.
Going Green - Students continued to fuse plastic bags. In the end they had created a small recycled bag.
Art - Students worked on their self-portrait abstracts. An added bonus was the addition of 3-D glasses. When they looked at their artwork through the 3-D glasses, the colors were raised off the paper. It looked as though they could reach into the picture. Colors were brought forward in the following order - red, orange, yellow, green, violet and blue.
Shakespeare - Today was the day! After all their preparation work, today they finally got to record their improvisation of their scenes. As you can see from the pictures, students really got into the costumes!
