Valentine Post Office

The second grade students in Mrs. L. Hummel's classroom have been learning about the postal and money systems. They constructed a Valentines Post Office in their classroom. They addressed their Valentines like they were "real" letters to be mailed. They used money to buy "stamps" to put on their Valentines before they "mailed" them in their classroom post office. The students were even assigned "postal worker jobs" in their classroom and "delivered mail" around the school.
