From time-to-time there is the need in the classroom for a timer. If you have a large screen monitor on your computer, you can display these timers from your computer. Better yet, if you use a multimedia projector, you can display the timer for all to see on your classroom screen. Here are some online timers you might want to try. Click on the links to go to the Internet timer pages.
The classroom stopwatch counts up or down. You can do split times by recording times as you go.
The first classroom timer counts up or down. If counting down, it displays a bar which colors in as the time goes by. It flashes and makes a sound at 0 in the count down mode. You can change the name of the timer by click on Tea Timer then typing in whatever you want to call it.
The second classroom timer features a very large display. You can change from elapsed time to count down by clicking in the box next to Change View.
If you don't want to go on the Internet for a timer, you can download one of these programs depending on the computer you are using. Once downloaded, double-click the file and follow directions to install. They are count down only programs.
