Iowa Western Math Quiz Bowl

Fifteen high school students traveled to Council Bluffs on Wednesday, April 18th to compete against other western Iowa and eastern Nebraska schools in the annual Iowa Western Math Quiz Bowl. Four teams competed, one from each grade level: the freshman team of Aaron Beireis, Taylor Frain, Sheyenne Smith, and Sydney Raney; the sophomore team of Brady Ryun, Amber Hoyt, Bailey McCready, and Reagan Gaynor; the junior team of Rachel Faga, Ashlie Wagner, Jake Conway, and Clay Harris; and the senior team of Meghan McSorley, Deven Moore, and Ean Johnson. Many of the matches were very close and three of the teams won their matches. Congratulations to all the math students in showcasing your academic ability and how much you've learned this year! You represented Riverside well!
