Summer Athletics Program
Riverside athletes have been very busy this summer working hard in the gym and weight room.
Beginning right after the school year ended, both male and female students were invited to take part
in a summer athletics program. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, students were lifting in the
weight room and doing a core workout. Every Tuesday and Thursday, students took part in speed and
agility workouts. Right from the start, we were seeing around 70 kids each day. Although students are
busy with summer athletics and vacations, we are still seeing a good number of students coming in and
working hard each day.
The coaches want to sincerely thank the Riverside students for their dedication and hard work this
summer! We truly believe that our athletics programs will be greatly helped due to this off season work.
