World Food Prize Iowa Youth Institute Reaches Record Participation

Riverside Senior Walk 2016

On our seniors last day they traveled to the elementary school where it all began. They put on their caps and gowns and entered the elementary to the cheers and applause of all the students, teachers and staff. 5th Grade Visits the Depot

The 5th grade class has been studying about how the early pioneers came to Iowa in Iowa History. One of the ways was on the railroad. We have been learning how towns grew up along the railroad and how the town of Macedonia actually moved to be by the railroad. 6th Grade Wax Museum

Today the 6th graders presented their Wax Museum. Visitors to the museum were able to learn about many famous people from Daniel Boone to Shirley Temple. It was fun to listen to the "wax" figures tell their life story. And it's always amazing to see the costumes the students are able to put together for the day.
