Fish In a Tree

Started April 20

Starting today, Wednesday, April 19, the intermediate school will be participating in the One School One Book program. In this program, every student and adult in the school will receive the book Fish in a Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt.

Over the 15 days that follow, everyone will be assigned to read certain pages every night with their family at home. There will be trivia questions for the families to answer with their child as they read each night. There will be some online activities and some school activities for them to complete on their own or with their classmates. If you want to be part of the blog for Fish in a Tree, you can join in at http://risfishinatree.blogspot.com/.

Each night we will have a set of questions that can be answered as you and your family read the book. We will post them each day on this Facebook page (Facebook Page:  fish in a tree - riverside intermediate school)  and they will be emailed out. We will also have hard copies available to students to take home for those who may not have electronic resources.

"Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."
