RHS: Top Dawgs

by Holly Hinkhouse

May 02, 2013

At RHS we are highlighting students who positively contribute to the school by being respectful and responsible leaders. Each month the staff will choose two "Top Dawgs" and the students chosen for the month of May are Katherine Bertacini and Cory Reichart!!!

Katherine and Cory were nominated by their teachers. This is what teachers say about these Top Dawgs:

Katherine is a great role model for our youngest students.  When she comes to the Elementary to work during the school day she is always polite and works at what she needs to.  The same at school activities - she is always hard working and dedicated to her activities.

Katherine is a self-motivated learner which makes her a pleasure to have in class.  She will be a great teacher!

Katherine is very involved at RHS and still balances her school work with her extra-curriculars. She is always willing to go above and beyond what is asked of her.  She will be greatly missed next year!

Cory has grown and matured so much in the last four years.  He has a good sense of humor and always has a positive attitude.

Cory is becoming a very hard worker for me, understands the need to produce and take responsibility for his work. He also appears to want to succeed, regardless of the relative difficulty of Spanish II. I believe he’s on the right tangent for the working world or college, whichever he chooses to do first.

Cory has made HUGE strides since his freshman year.  He is a hard worker, a great helper, and a positive role model on the playing field.

Each month the Top Dawgs will be rewarded with:

  • Preferred parking all month
  • Being first in the lunch line all month
  • 10 Extra Credit points for one test in a class
  • $1.00 a la carte ticket

Congratulations to our Top Dawgs! We look forward to highlighting more great students next year!
