Teachers,
What would you like to see me doing this year? When would you be available for short training sessions? Could you see team-teaching with me as you integrate technology in your classroom?

| 08/20/2009 | First, just being more available will be great-- each time I used the clickers, I spend the first day remembering how to set it up, then it worked great the 2nd day. When I do Photo Story in a poetry unit, I could use help teaching or troubleshooting. I wonder if blogs would work for Reading Book Clubs for students to respond to their books????? I hope to use E-pals and Write a Story on the internet alternating weeks for English which I may need help setting up. |

I would be available after school for training sessions and would love help setting up a home page. I would be willing to team teach, but I haven't a clue to as what right now. Thanks!! |

| 08/21/2009 | I would love to have some training on the new Eno Boards (sp?) and especially the Graphic Tablets. It would be very nice to not have to stand at the board or at my Elmo and write out math problems. I'm available before or after school for training. |

| 08/27/2009 | Like Lauri I have trouble remembering the clicker set up. I want to use the labs to have the students do research on topics like friendships, bullies, careers, smoking and substance abuse prevention. I just worry that they will get to web pages that aren't safe or appropriate for their age. I need help in how to structure or set it up and how to find more sites than the ones I have now. I'd also like to set up a blog situation for units I do in fourth and I would like to do more with the students creating their own videos. I have some time every other Thursday morning, but that is about it. Another idea that would be wonderful is getting the District Emergency Response plan on the web page. A counselor's blog might be a great way to reach parents on certain topics too. Parenting classes are often hard to schedule and coordinate so maybe a blog would work. Enough ideas, what interests you? As you can see I also want you to camp out in my room just like Lisa. |
