To study Newton's Laws of Motion, Miss Hinkhouse's Physical Science students worked in groups to design and build cars that were powered by inflated balloons.

Newton's First Law: An object at rest will remain at rest and an object in motion will remain in motion unless an unbalanced force acts on the object.

Newton's Second Law: The acceleration of an object is equal to the force exerted on the object divided by the mass of the object.

Newton's Third Law: Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
