We R Riverside, and so R You!

Riverside Community School District serves around 700 students from the communities of Carson, Macedonia and Oakland, Iowa. Since we are roughly 30 minutes east of Omaha/Council Bluffs area, you can enjoy everything that a large city offers while working in a close-knit community.

While we may be spread out across three communities, we are united in one vision.

You Can Expect...

to find a community that supports their school, from completing back-to-school wish lists to volunteering and organizing alumni events. You'll also have new staff orientation, professional development, and supportive colleagues who prioritize students' academic and social growth. We celebrate our staff and the hard work they put into providing our students an exceptional education!

We Expect...

our staff to recognize the role they play in teaching students the skills they need for life-long success. Every adult on campus is in a position to help student set high expectations for themselves academically, behaviorally, and in their extracurricular interests. By capturing kids' hearts, we can have an impact that changes their lives. School should be place where students feel supported and safe while enjoying learning.
