Riverside School District to host a Vaccination Point of Distribution on Thursday May 13, 2021 starting at 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Riverside Middle/High School Gym (18997 Hwy 59 Oakland, IA). This clinic is for anyone who is eligible to receive a vaccination.
NEW!! Due to the amount of Vaccine doses available today--Pott County Public Health has determined that they will now not expand the age for vaccination.
They will return in three weeks and then will open to 12-15 year old's.

Those students between the age of 16-18 years of age will need a signed consent form from their parents. Pfizer will be the vaccination available on that day.

If an underage student has the permission slip signed, are parents required to be present? No parents will need to be present as long as the 12 year old and above have a signed slip they will receive a vaccination.
Are there any circumstances that would prevent a student from receiving the vaccine? (i.e. recent exposure, previous COVID-19 diagnosis, etc?) Anyone currently quarantining should continue to do so. Recent vaccines (within 14 days) they will not be able to get a shot until 14 days. People who have had COVID-19 as long as they are done with isolation they can get a shot.
