Mr. Swotek's robotics class planned and designed a costume, and made choreography for a Drone. They had to put them together while trouble shooting along the way to understand the physics and forces behind what drives a Drone and how to make them still operable with something attached to them. #WeRRiverside

On Tuesday, November 4, Riverside CSD residents will consider approving a voted Physical Plant & Equipment Levy (PPEL).

Early voting begins October 15 at the Pottawattamie County auditor’s office.

Ten students competed in the Iowa Auto Dealers Mechanics contest at DMACC. The first portion was a written test. The top eight schools will get to compete in a hands-on competition in December. Students were also able to see the mechanical facilities and speak with DMACC instructors. #WeRRiverside

Riverside CSD is now hiring a full-time bus driver for the 2026-27 school year! Starting pay is $62 per route, with regular pay increasing to $63.75 per route.

Mr. Swotek's computer maintenance class has prepped and prepared new computers for office staff. Once that was complete they helped install them at their new locations with all new peripherals and dual monitors for a more efficient setup. They also are learning about installing Access Points, and making new ends for Ethernet cabling for internet access throughout the district. #WeRRiverside

This year, Riverside’s SAVE revenue is estimated at $988,169, and nearly every dollar is already designated to important district needs. Transparency matters—and so does responsible planning.

Congratulations to the 2013 Riverside Boys Cross Country Team, our 2025 Hall of Fame Team Honoree! 🎉

The team earned a fourth-place finish at the state meet in Fort Dodge, led by Head Coach Alex Oliver.
