Are you interested in becoming a substitute teacher? Riverside CSD will cover the cost of the substitute authorization course for interested individuals!
Prerequisites:
👉Minimum of 18 years old
👉Have an associate degree or bachelor’s degree or 60 semester hours of credit from a regionally-accredited institution, OR hold a Paraeducator Certificate
This is a 20-hour course that will help you become a certified substitute teacher. An application to the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners and a background check are required after course completion.
