The Winter Sports Banquet is Monday, March 16th. The meal begins at 5:30, with the program to follow at 6:30. All proceeds benefit Riverside After Prom.

Following the November 2025 election in which the proposed voted Physical Plant and Equipment Levy (PPEL) was not approved, the Riverside Community School District partnered with the Donovan Group to conduct a post-election community survey.
The purpose of this survey was to better understand voter perceptions and inform future decision-making on facility planning, community priorities, and communication strategies as the Board of Education considers potential actions.

We have some schedule adjustments for next week as we approach conferences! 🙂

➡️Tuesday, March 10 will have a 2:25pm dismissal, with parent-teacher conferences scheduled from 4:00-8:00pm.

➡️Preschool will have school on Wednesday, March 11.

➡️Thursday, March 12 will also have a 2:25pm dismissal, with parent-teacher conferences again taking place from 4:00-8:00pm.

➡️There will be no school for all students on Friday, March 13.

The Riverside School Board has engaged HYA, a nationwide consulting firm, to lead our search for a new Superintendent. HYA uses the results of this survey to work with your Board to build a Profile of the desired characteristics to look for in our next Superintendent. Riverside CSD is hiring a part-time custodian to work Monday-Friday from 6-11pm. The starting wage is $16.55/hour, increasing to $19.21/hour after 90 days. 🧹

4th Graders at the Omaha Symphony today! Thank you Principal's Cabinet for making this trip possible every year! Students were about to play their recorders with the symphony. How cool!

The JH Student Council teamed up with Mrs. Hart's class for Read Across America week, and it was so much fun for everyone! The younger students read aloud the nonfiction books that they had created. After that, they all played a variety of games to build literacy skills!
