We’re proud to celebrate Hannah Lund, a University of Wyoming student and a proud 2022 graduate of Riverside! 🎓

Hannah has spent four incredible years as a member of the Division I Western Thunder Marching Band, playing both trumpet and baritone. Her performances have taken her to two bowl games, the Tournament of Roses Parade, Denver Broncos halftime, the National Western Stock Show, and most recently, the halftime show honoring Buffalo Bills MVP Josh Allen. 🏈🎺

She also played two seasons of ice hockey with UW’s club team and has performed in the UW Symphonic Band throughout her college career.

Hannah will graduate with honors in May 2026 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology/psychology and a minor in biology. We cannot wait to see what she does next!

Responsibility is the CKH Character Trait that we will focus on during the month of December with students during their weekly CKH lessons.

Why focus on Responsibility?
Responsibility teaches resilience. It is not possible to persevere and achieve our dreams without taking personal responsibility seriously.
Responsibility empowers us to own our actions. There is great power in being able to make conscious, calculated choices to reach goals and manage those things in our control.
Responsibility teaches us to manage our time and resources. Responsibly organizing and prioritizing needs is an executive function of the brain that improves with practice.
