The Elementary Principal's Cabinet...
Hello 2025! We hope you had a rejuvenating winter break and are now ready to dive into the new year with enthusiasm.
We're excited to kick off 2025 with the A Student Art Show Fundraiser . Join us on January 16th at Judge Richard Distillery 's Event Room to marvel at the incredible artwork created by Oakland and Carson Elementary students. The event room is a stunning space that will beautifully showcase the artwork. To make the evening even more enjoyable, drink specials will be available for adults, with prices ranging from $8 to $10, while kids can enjoy soda and a bulldog beverage for just $2.
All artwork on display will be available for purchase to support the Riverside Elementary Principal's Cabinet initiatives. We suggest a donation of $1 or more per piece, and we accept cash, checks, and Venmo. Artwork can be picked up on January 17th, or, if you prefer, the library has graciously offered to display the purchased pieces.
We encourage you to bring your students along, but if needed, babysitting services will be available at the Eckels Memorial Library during the event. All the details are in the Facebook event. Hope to see you there!

Congratulations to Brock Johnson who has successfully finished all the required training and has been officially recognized as an Open Phys Ed Certified Educator. This achievement marks a significant milestone in his career, as it reflects not only his dedication to professional development but also his commitment to providing high quality physical education to his students. With this certification, Mr. Johnson is now equipped with the latest strategies and techniques to engage students in active, healthy lifestyles. #WeRRiverside
