Introducing Suzy Karros! Suzy has been serving in our district as a special education teacher and is transitioning to the new SAM for the elementary!
Suzy has worked at Riverside for the past eight years, beginning as a paraprofessional, and currently, as a Special Education Strategist. She received her Bachelors in Special Education from Buena Vista University.
Suzy says, "We have lived in Oakland for nine years and absolutely love the Riverside community."

The 6th-8th grade May advisory activities have turned into a close race! We currently have 8th grade with 14 points, 7th grade with 15 points, and 6th grade with 14 points. They can continue to earn points for winning the activities and for positively encouraging their peers!
