On Saturday, January 21st, Riverside students competed in Large Group Speech district competition. The following duos performed Ensemble Acting pieces: Kim Smith and Holly Hering; Allyee Pierson and Autumn Bennett; and Yezabella Terwilliger and Yasari Diaz. Jayden Bates and Markely Yanes performed in Radio Broadcasting and Emily McDaniel brought a Short Film. The duos moving on to State competition are Kim Smith and Holly Hering and Allyee Pierson and Autumn Bennett. Congratulations to all of our competitors!
Riverside JH Bulldog of the week is Meadow D. Her nominator said, "Meadow has worked really hard in class these last couple weeks. She is a great student and cares about her work." Keep up the great work Meadow.

We had our first successful “ Fun Food Friday”. Throughout the week Liam, Joe, and Kevin, picked, planned, and prepared a recipe for Concession Stand Crackers to eat themselves and Riverside staff. Afterward they rated the recipe and they gave it 5 Bulldogs!
Help support the 2023 Prom at the Home Basketball game Tues, Jan 17th. There will be a bake sale, guess the number jar, and a pass the bucket. All proceeds will go to purchasing items for Prom.
Congrats to Grayson C. on being this week's JH Bulldog of the Week. Grayson's nominator stated how he has successfully started the semester by being prepared, helping classmates, and participating in class. Great work Grayson!
