Today is Election Day! 🗳️

On the ballot is a voted PPEL for the Riverside Community School District. Find more information at https://bit.ly/riversideppel2025.

Polls are open 7:00am to 8:00pm, and a valid ID is required to cast your ballot. Additional voting information is available at https://www.pottcounty-ia.gov/auditor/elections/.

On Tuesday, our community will consider a voted Physical Plant & Equipment Levy (PPEL) for Riverside Schools.

An approved PPEL would allow the district to use the funds for:

➡️ Making projected repairs in line with our 2024 facility study
➡️ Purchasing buses to update and maintain our fleet
➡️ Rotating our Chromebooks for students/ staff to ensure we keep devices up to date
➡️ Adding more educational technology throughout our schools
➡️ Providing telehealth mental health supports for students

The voted PPEL would have a rate of $1.34, resulting in an increase of approximately $120.61 per year (or $10.05 per month) on a residential home with an assessed value of $200,000.
