Congrats to this week's BOTW, Kia Meek! Kia's nominator had this to say about Kia. "She is rocking her upper level classes and is a kind and caring young lady. Also a recent signee to attend the University of Dubuque for criminal justice and to participate in wrestling!"

This week's staff spotlight highlight Assistant Principal Tyler Johannsen and School Secretary Penny Anderson! Below are STUCO's nominating words about Tyler and Penny.
Mr. Johannsen is the first staff member we would like to recognize this week. He is a great assistant principal, and he has done a great job creating a bond with students. He continuously asks students how they are doing and tells everyone good morning. He encourages us all to be good people. He gives his best effort everyday to make our time at school as positive as possible. He is actively involved in the school, and makes us feel welcome.
Mrs. Penny is the next staff member to recognize this week. She is always in such a good mood, and she is very kind to everyone. We love Mrs. Penny. She balances a lot to make sure everything gets done, and she is caring toward everyone in our school. She is a major help to the school, and does a great job of getting everything done.

The yearbook staff is hard at work creating a yearbook to showcase this school year! 2022-23 Yearbooks are available for purchase online from now until April 1st! See flyer for QR code or go to yearbookforever.com and search for our school to purchase your yearbook!

This week's staff spotlight is focused on Kayla Harris and Sabrina Singleton.
Below are RHS Student Council's nominating words.
"The first staff member to recognize this week is Mrs. Harris. She wants to set her students up for future success. She has an upbeat attitude and is a positive teacher and coach. She is friendly, willing to help, and knows how to keep everyone laughing and smiling."
"We would also like to honor Mrs. Singleton. She is always a smiling face in the hallway, friendly to all, and she is always ready to listen. Mrs. Singleton is really good at helping others, is super cheerful, and is nice to everyone."
Thanks Sabrina and Kayla for all you do for the students of Riverside MS/HS!

Congrats to Bronx J and Ethan P on being this week's Bulldogs of the Week!
Bronx has been a wing man for the new student and showing him around the school and being there to help him. Ethan is kind to everyone and works hard in class!
Keep up the great work Bronx and Ethan!
