Riverside Community School District is seeking quotes for the purchase and installation of thirty (30), 65” TV’s with Fireplace Mounts in classrooms located in Oakland and Carson, IA. Proposals should include labor, miscellaneous hardware, 65” TV’s, fireplace mounts, and material to cover any cabling that occurs such as power and internet cords. Some of the buildings have walls made of concrete bricks, dry wall, and/or other surfaces. Anyone wishing to have pictures of a typical room or would like to tour please see the contact information below.
In most classrooms the length of the plug for the TV will be sufficient to reach a power source. Any room that does not have power near the installation, the district will connect the TV to the nearest power source. The district will also connect the TV to the nearest internet source. After all cords are installed, a covering for the cords is required to complete the project.
We do have a budgeted amount of money so the number of units may need to be adjusted based on quotes. Any questions can be directed to Jamie J. Meek, technology director, at jmeek@riverside.k12.ia.us.
