We want to give a warm welcome to Sheyenne Smith! ✨ Sheyenne is originally from the Riverside community and was inspired to teach special education after working in the elementary special education room as a senior in high school. Sheyenne moved to Nebraska for college and to start her teaching career. She is excited to return and support students through their challenges and also be their number-one fan throughout their successes!

Join us on May 4 at Riverside HS for MLB's Pitch, Hit, & Run event hosted by the Riverside Optimist Club.
This is a free event series for boys and girls, and consists of a series of movements that are important in baseball and softball. Participants will compete in either 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, or 13-14 age divisions, with the Age Cut-off set on November 15, 2024. They will be tested, and their measurements will be recorded for points. Based on their scores, they will advance from our Local Event to a Team Championship and then to the Finals hosted at the World Series.

REMINDER: Riverside will be hosting our first ever Grandparent and Grandfriend's Day this spring on May 1, 2024!
We are excited to include a program of what our students have been learning and let grandparents eat with their grandchildren at their respective school! If students do not have a grandparent to help take part they may ask you as their parent or even a family friend to be in attendance. OES will be performing at 9:30am and CES will be performing at 12:30pm, both at Carson Elementary!
