We’d like to extend a warm Riverside welcome to Katelyn Biggs! She joins us as our new PK-5 music teacher this school year. 🎶
This school year, she’s excited to have fun making music with our elementary students! A native of Carson, she taught band in South Dakota and in Underwood for the past five years. She’s working on a master’s degree from Northwest Missouri State University.
“I wanted to teach in the Riverside community because it is full of supportive and kind individuals,” she says.
In her free time, Katelyn enjoys reading, seeing live music, and spending time with her nephews.

HELP WANTED: We are looking for community members who have a vested interest in helping us with the Capital Campaign. This would include talking with potential donors, getting input from stakeholders, making decisions about projects, and collaborating on great ideas for Riverside. Please be sure to send your child(ren) with water bottle(s) tomorrow (Tuesday). They will not be able to drink from the drinking fountains or refill their water bottles throughout the day.
With early dismissal today, there will be no Junior High sports practices (8/28).
HS athletes should coordinate with their coaches about practice times.
The JV Football game at AHSTW is still on as scheduled.

We will be dismissing at 12:30 today (8/28/23) due to a water main break in Carson. All buildings will dismiss due to bussing.
